The Moon Masters 86: How are you are?
In this episode, we talked about crappy Internet speeds in Silicon Valley, Leopard, and Apoc’s employment woes.
We had an FU from Anthony, who also explained Aloha’s spider attack. Conker the Squirrel sent in these video links: here and here. Also, Kerrin sent in this link.
Thanks for listening.

You can download Leopard from practically any torrent site. You don’t even need to burn it to DVD to install it if you have an external drive or iPod (you can do the “restore” install option).
Steve Jobs just tracked your IP address and he’s coming after you. If someone in a black turtleneck knocks on your door, don’t answer it, even if he’s holding a pizza.
I live in Canada. It’s considered “grey area” here.
First our money, and now our laws EH? EH?
Don’t you guys pay a tax on blank media there because it’s expected you’ll steal? If so, doesn’t that mean it’s cool to steal there?
We do pay a tax on blank media…it’s still a “grey area”. There has been some watershed cases that have ruled in favor of people pirating stuff.
It’s a levy, not a tax, but you still pay extra.
The stupid fucking capchta keeps erasing what I’m writing here. So now you just get the short version:
Heard about Nova. Dowel, if you’re affected, good luck, homie! Don’t let the man keep you down!
And I just reread the post, and see it’s already been discussed. Color me retarded, I missed it the first time. Well, still, good luck!
Thanks E.D., I’m just waiting on that call from Jordache to start my modeling career.
I’m thinking I need to go liberate Canada of its money.
I’ll help, Aloha. I have some free time.
Canadians: “Hey you hosers, stop horkin’ our money, eh?”
Apoc and Aloha: “Eat it, you crummy jerks. Where’s our money?”
There’s plenty of Casinos in Canada. Perhaps you could go and rob some of them.
Also, maybe you could start up one of those Nigerian scams and replace Nigeria with Palo Alto or wherever Apoc is living… Japan somewhere.
Apoc: “Don’t you guys pay a tax on blank media there because it’s expected you’ll steal? If so, doesn’t that mean it’s cool to steal there?”
I guess we pay extra…I’m not sure how much more though. For example, I just bought a 12-pack of DVD-Rs from Staples for $5.88. It probably is more than I were to walk into a American Staples and buy the exact same thing, but don’t forget about the exchange rate! Canadians save!
